The Nationwide Electrical Energy Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has authorised a Rs4.89 per unit discount in energy tariff for customers of K-Electrical for August below the gas price adjustment (FCA) mechanism.
K-Electrical (KE) had requested Rs 4.21 per unit lower within the tariff for August.
Earlier, the authority had charged Rs4.12 per unit discount within the FCA for July. The FCA for August was 77 paisa lower than month of July.
This discount won’t be relevant to the customers utilizing as much as 300 models, lifeline, agri customers and electrical automobile charging stations, in accordance with a notification issued by Nepra.
KE clients will get this reduction of their October payments.
In the meantime, Nepra additionally authorised a 19 paisa per unit improve in energy tariff below FCA for August for Wapda energy distribution firms (DISCOs).
In a petition, the Central Energy Buying Company (CPPA-G) had sought a 22 paisa per unit improve within the energy tariff for August. The authority had performed a public listening to on September 29, stated a notification issued on Friday.
The FCA for July was charged as Rs4.34 per unit which was for one month.
The NEPRA would cost Rs4.15 per unit much less FCA for August as in comparison with July and can be relevant on billing month of October.
