KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 19): The Macau Particular Administrative Area is claimed to have unconditionally accepted Genting Malaysia Bhd’s oblique subsidiary GMM SA’s bid for the award of a brand new 10-year gaming concession involving on line casino operations there, GGRAsia reported.
“The data was reported on Tuesday (Oct 18) by the Portuguese-language radio service of public broadcaster TDM,” GGRAsia reported.
Genting Malaysia had intially on Sept 15 introduced GMM’s bid for the 10-year gaming concession in Macau.
In a Bursa Malaysia submitting then, Genting Malaysia stated GMM submitted the bid to the Macau authorities on Sept 14 “for the operation of on line casino video games of fortune in Macau”.
“This represents a chance for Genting Malaysia to broaden its enterprise within the leisure and hospitality sector, diversify its geographical footprint, and take part within the restoration prospects of the Macau gaming phase.
“Genting Malaysia will make applicable bulletins as soon as there’s extra readability of the corporate’s place in relation to the bid,” Genting Malaysia stated then.
As on the time of writing on Wednesday, Genting Malaysia had not issued an announcement in response to GGRAsia’s Tuesday report.
