Deliberate Energy Outages for Upkeep

The Ministry of Electrical energy, Water, and Renewable Vitality (MEW) in Kuwait is saying scheduled upkeep work on secondary substations throughout the six governorates. This may trigger energy outages from February 1st to February eighth, 2025.

Affected Areas and Occasions:

The precise areas and instances affected are detailed within the connected schedule (pages 2-8). The outages will happen between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM every day. Every web page lists the affected substations for at some point and contains the substation quantity, location, PACI quantity, block, and space. The next is an inventory by date, however notice that it isn’t exhaustive because the doc accommodates a big variety of areas:

February 1st, 2025 (Saturday): Kifan, Doha, Salwa, Hawalli, Khaitan, Farwaniya, Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah, Jahra, Oyoun.

February 2nd, 2025 (Sunday): Salwa, Al-Siddiq, Khaitan, Sabah Al-Nasser, Jahra, Al-Qurain, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel.

February 4th, 2025 (Tuesday): Salmiya, Al-Siddiq, Yarmouk, Sabah Al-Nasser, Saad Al-Abdulla, Nasseem, Al-Qusour, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel, Daiya, Sabah Well being Area.

February fifth, 2025 (Wednesday): Al-Siddiq, Yarmouk, Sabah Al-Nasser, Jahra, Saad Al-Abdulla, Al-Qurain, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel, Daiya, Sabah Well being Area.

February sixth, 2025 (Thursday): Al-Siddiq, Yarmouk, Sabah Al-Nasser, Saad Al-Abdulla, Al-Qurain, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel, Qadsiya, Riggai.

February seventh, 2025 (Friday): Jahra, Qadsiya, Sabah Well being Area.

February eighth, 2025 (Saturday): Dasma, Sabah Well being Area.
