In preparation for the 2026 NRL season, the North Queensland Cowboys have confirmed their growth listing, which features a mixture of younger abilities and a bunch of latest recruits.

Following three matches for the Sydney Roosters over the previous two seasons, Ethan King returns house to Townsville, the place he attended Ipswich Grammar Faculty, performed for the Ipswich Jets within the Mal Meninga Cup and was named within the Beneath-16s Queensland aspect through the begin of his profession.

The son of Andrew King, who performed 133 first-grade matches for Gold Coast, Manly, Northern Eagles, and South Sydney, Ethan comes from an extended line of former gamers, which incorporates ex-Parramatta Eels ahead Chris King and  Australian and NSW Blues consultant Matt King.

Becoming a member of King is 2024 Australian Schoolboys sensation Mason Barber, who didn’t play a single match throughout this 12 months as a result of an ongoing shoulder damage, and Matthew Watts, who was a member of the membership’s Younger Weapons program and is a former St Patrick’s School schoolboys teammate of Jaxon Purdue.

Xavier Kerrisk will even stay on the membership’s growth listing for the second straight season and is very considered the longer term No.9 of the Cowboys.

The opposite two gamers on the event listing are Liam Sutton and Ronald Philitoga.

After a robust season within the QLD Cup for the Wynnum Manly Seagulls after becoming a member of them from the Newcastle Knights mid-way by means of 2025, Zero Deal with understands that Sutton has been rewarded with a two-year contract.

In the meantime, Philitoga joins the membership after touchdown a train-and-replacement take care of the Brisbane Broncos and is ready to make his worldwide debut for Fiji towards Papua New Guinea on Saturday afternoon.
