Heavy rains prompt class suspensions in parts of Eastern Visayas
TACLOBAN CITY — A number of native governments in Jap Visayas suspended courses on Monday, following warnings of average to heavy rainfall from a climate disturbance affecting the area. The category suspensions got here after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Providers Administration (Pagasa), beneath the Division of Science and Know-how (DOST), issued a climate advisory early Monday, warning of steady rains attributable to the trough of a low-pressure space and the northeast monsoon.
