Jounieh’s municipality simply introduced that the Outdated Souk will formally change into pedestrian-only on weekends, giving guests an opportunity to get pleasure from its vigorous streets with out the visitors and noise.

Beginning this Friday, the brand new schedule will see the souk closed to autos and bikes from 7 PM till 4 AM on Friday nights, after which repeatedly from 7 PM Saturday till 4 AM Monday.

The transfer goals to make the historic seaside avenue extra walkable and family-friendly, making a safer and extra relaxed environment for locals and vacationers to discover its cafés, bars, and outlets.
