Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, together with different political leaders and journalists, has categorically condemned the harassment of anchorperson Shahzeb Khanzada in a public place. 

The condemnations got here after a video emerged on social media displaying the senior journalist being heckled whereas he was busy procuring along with his household overseas. Nevertheless, throughout the incident, Khanzada maintained his cool and averted any confrontation.

“That was a tragic incident, and I actually do not approve of it. It was very unlucky that Khanzada sahib was booed whereas he was overseas along with his household,” Gohar stated in an announcement.

Talking on Geo Information‘ programme “Naya Pakistan”, Federal Info Minister Attaullah Tarar termed the incident “extremely condemnable”.

“On behalf of the state, I guarantee Shahzeb [Khanzada] that we’ll hint who that man [harasser] was. It can’t be that somebody is with [their] household and is harassed,” Tarar remarked.

Punjab’s Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb additionally slammed the incident as “shameful” whereas calling it a “one more filthy reminder of the mob mentality Imran Khan has fastidiously bred inside PTI”.

“This crowd doesn’t lack manners, they have been by no means taught dignity, decency or primary humanity. Their whole existence feeds on confrontation, chaos, and bullying. This isn’t politics it’s brute thuggery masquerading as activism,” the politician wrote in a put up on X.

Muttahida Qaumi Motion-Pakistan’s (MQM-P) Faisal Sabzwari additionally censured the abuse and insults towards the Geo anchorperson within the presence of his household.
