RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sisters — Aleema Khan, Noreen Khan Niazi and Uzma Khanum — had been taken into custody after refusing to finish their sit-in close to Central Jail Rawalpindi, however had been launched shortly.

The sisters of the incarcerated PTI founder, together with dozens of get together staff, staged a sit-in on Adiala Highway after being denied permission to satisfy him and his spouse, Bushra Bibi.

In the meantime, the police requested Khan’s sister to clear the highway, however the talks failed, and Aleema refused to name off the sit-in. After that, police sprayed water on the highway and detained round 8 to 10 PTI activists, together with Khan’s sisters.

Speaking to journalists after being launched, Aleema mentioned that her sister Noreen was dragged on the highway by the ladies police personnel.

Aleema has been visiting her incarcerated brother at Adiala and has served as a key channel for conveying Khan’s messages to PTI staff by way of the media.

Final month, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was denied permission to satisfy the jailed PTI founder.

The KP chief minister had arrived outdoors the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi alongside PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan and Secretary Common Salman Akram Raja.

Nonetheless, CM Afridi returned and not using a assembly with the PTI founder, whereas Khan’s sister, Uzma, was allowed to satisfy the previous premier.

Talking to journalists outdoors the jail, Afridi mentioned that he needs to be allowed to satisfy the PTI founder to obtain “coverage tips”, emphasising that questions needs to be raised about why such a gathering is being obstructed.
