International Federation for Equestrian Sports awards His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Gold Badge of Honour in recognition of his international leadership

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Consultant of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Honorary President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation, and Commander of the Royal Endurance Staff, acquired the Gold Badge of Honour from the Worldwide Federation for Equestrian Sports activities (FEI) in recognition of His Highness’s achievements throughout his participation in world championships since his first participation in Germany in 2006, and in appreciation of His Highness’s excellent efforts in supporting and growing equestrian sports activities on the regional and worldwide ranges.

 

This got here throughout His Highness’s reception, within the presence of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Common Sports activities Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, of Ingmar de Vos, President of the FEI.

 

Additionally current have been, His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for the Surroundings, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Membership’s Excessive Committee, Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports activities; His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation; Sultan Mohammed Al Yahyai, President of the Regional Group 7 of the Worldwide Equestrian Federation, and Faris Al Kooheji, Secretary Common of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.

 

The FEI awarded His Highness the Gold Badge of Honour in accordance with Article 132.2 of its Common Laws, that are primarily based on monitoring the worldwide participations and cumulative achievements of riders and equestrian leaders world wide.

 

His Highness expressed appreciation to the FEI, affirming that receiving the badge confirms the distinguished place that Bahraini equestrian sports activities has reached because of the limitless assist of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

 

The FEI awarding the Gold Badge of Honour to His Highness was primarily based on his spectacular file since his first participation within the World Endurance Championships in Germany in 2006, which marked the beginning of his distinguished profession in worldwide equestrianism, and his outstanding accomplishments that raised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s profile on the worldwide stage.

 

For his half, the FEI President expressed thanks and appreciation to His Highness for his pioneering position within the prosperity of equestrian sports activities, particularly endurance sports activities, which has turn into a mannequin to be emulated within the Arab world.
