Cupboard approval has been granted to ascertain the ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund, aimed toward rebuilding the nation following the extreme devastation brought on by Cyclone ‘Ditwah’, one of many worst pure disasters in Sri Lanka’s latest historical past.   • Krishan Balendra, Chairman, John Keells
  • Parakrama Dissanayake, Deputy Chairman and Managing Director, Aitken Spence
  • Ashroff Omar, Group Chief Government Officer, Brandix
  • Ishara Nanayakkara, Government Chairman, LOLC Holdings

The Administration Committee will probably be empowered to make sure the efficient administration of the Fund, together with assessing necessities, setting priorities, allocating assets and disbursing funds for authorised restoration actions. The Committee may also guarantee full transparency in all monetary operations of the Fund, together with monetary administration and auditing.
