A 25-year-old lady, daughter of an IAS officer, has allegedly died by suicide at her parental residence in Tadepalli in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh after making dowry harassment allegations months in the past, stated a police official on Tuesday.

Her dad and mom broke open the doorways after she did not come out of the toilet for a very long time and located her hanging, the police added.
“Madhuri Sahitibai (25), daughter of an IAS officer, was discovered useless at her parental residence on Sunday after beforehand making dowry harassment allegations,” Mangalagiri DSP Murali Krishna advised PTI.
A case has been registered below Part 80 (that offers with dowry deaths) of the BNS.
In keeping with the police, Sahitibai had fallen in love with Rajesh Naidu from her village in Bugganapalli in Betancharala Mandal of Nandyal district and had discontinued her B Tech course earlier because of backlogs.
She married Naidu on March 5 and knowledgeable her and her husband’s households on March 7.
The marriage was registered later. Nonetheless, just a few months in the past, she reportedly referred to as her dad and mom alleging that she confronted dowry harassment, following which her dad and mom introduced her again to their residence within the first week of September, the police stated.
Her dad and mom stated she agreed to return with them and had been staying at their residence since then, the police added.
