
Manama, Dec. 6 (BNA): Below the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Consultant for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports activities (SCYS), the closing ceremony of the second version of the “We Write in Arabic” initiative, organised by the Bahrain Islamic Financial institution (BisB), was held on the Bahrain Nationwide Theatre.
The occasion was attended by Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayyed, Secretary Basic of the SCYS.
The second version of the “We Write in Arabic” initiative concluded with cultural performances and the announcement of winners throughout greater than 21 classes, alongside judges, trainers, volunteers, and colleges.
Almoayyed mentioned the initiative displays HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s imaginative and prescient of making inventive areas for youth to precise their abilities in a language representing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s id and tradition. He highlighted sturdy participation and high quality work, noting the Council’s help and the position of strategic partnerships with authorities and personal establishments.
Fatema Al Alawi, Chief Government Officer of BisB, counseled HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad’s help and the involvement of key companions, together with the Ministries of Data, Schooling, and Youth Affairs, Visa, Zain Bahrain, and the Bahrain Writers Affiliation.
Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Data; Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Schooling; and Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, emphasised the initiative’s position in selling Arabic, nurturing expertise, and fostering youth creativity. Representatives from Zain Bahrain and Visa highlighted their dedication to supporting youth innovation and group partnerships.
Dr. Rashed Najem, President of the Bahrain Writers Affiliation, underlined the initiative’s significance in nurturing a brand new era of writers and preserving Arabic cultural heritage.
The initiative attracted over 7,000 contributors from 225 private and non-private colleges, in addition to youth contributors.
