Latakia, Dec.11 (SANA) A advertising and marketing exhibition that includes merchandise made by working ladies opened Wednesday on the Nationwide Museum in Latakia, highlighting native handicrafts and initiatives to empower ladies economically.

The occasion, organized with the participation of a number of craftswomen, showcased a variety of handmade merchandise together with detergents, art work, embroidery, candles, and ornamental objects. The exhibition goals to assist ladies, enhance their financial independence, and strengthen their position within the labor market.

Muhammad Khader Hussein, head of the Latakia Governorate Employees’ Union, instructed SANA that the exhibition gives a direct platform for girls to market their merchandise, encourages them to develop their expertise, and sustains their manufacturing efforts. He famous that the union frequently organizes free coaching packages to qualify ladies in numerous handicraft fields, enhancing their means to contribute to the native financial system.

“All of the merchandise on show are solely handmade, reflecting the ability and dedication of ladies to work,” Hussein added, stressing that such initiatives create further job alternatives and allow ladies to turn out to be self-reliant whereas supporting their households.

Reem Ibrahim, a instructor and craftswoman specializing in equipment, stated she faces challenges balancing her skilled work with managing her personal undertaking, in addition to the excessive price of high quality uncooked supplies. She highlighted that exhibitions like this permit craftswomen to showcase their merchandise and attain a wider viewers.

Farah Ahmed, taking part for the third time together with her stone and mirror work and ornamental objects, stated she advantages from the occasion by rising her revenue.

The three-day exhibition continues the Latakia Employees’ Union’s efforts to assist working ladies, create sustainable manufacturing and advertising and marketing areas, and allow them to develop their tasks whereas actively participating within the financial sector.
