Pakistan Peoples Occasion (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Friday thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for what he known as a “heat welcome and constructive gesture” after she publicly greeted him on his go to to Punjab.

Responding to a publish on X by Maryam, Bilawal wrote: “Thanks, Madam Chief Minister, for the nice and cozy welcome and constructive gesture.” 

In her message, Maryam had mentioned: “I lengthen a heat welcome to @BBhuttoZardari on his go to to Punjab. Punjab is your own home, and you’ll all the time discover a place of respect right here.”

“Thanks on your gracious remarks. You’ve got my heartfelt good needs and prayers,” she added.

In October, Maryam had asserted that her authorities had neither complained nor sought assist from anybody for aiding flood-affected residents, saying that Punjab would deal with the disaster by its personal sources. 

“I didn’t stretch my palms earlier than anybody. I’ve protected the self-respect of Punjab’s individuals,” she mentioned, in an obvious reference to Bilawal’s enchantment to the Centre to hunt worldwide help for flood victims.
