Preah Vihear – No less than three Thai strikes throughout three provinces on Thursday have been among the many deepest recorded in 5 days of renewed border clashes, with one reaching at the very least 63 km inside Cambodia, based on social media posts, official statements and native residents.

Huon Sieng Hai, a resident of Kraing Dong village about 3 km from the bottom, stated he heard two loud explosions round 4 p.m. on Thursday. Authorities advised close by residents to briefly evacuate their properties, he stated, including that he has organized for his two kids and mom to depart the province on Friday.

“I used to be scared once I heard the bombs out of the blue as a result of we didn’t know they have been coming and the space is so removed from the border,” Sieng Hai stated.

Cambodia’s Ministry of Nationwide Protection spokesperson Maly Socheata declined to touch upon the strikes and referred reporters to the ministry’s Telegram channel for updates.
