New Delhi [India], December 15 (ANI): An earthquake of magnitude 4.0 struck Afghanistan early on Monday, in line with the Nationwide Centre for Seismology. The tremor was recorded at 6:10 am at a depth of twenty-two km, with its epicentre positioned at latitude 36.71 levels north and longitude 71.58 levels east. There have been no instant stories of casualties or harm.

This comes amid a collection of earthquakes reported in Afghanistan over the previous week. Earlier on December 10, a stronger earthquake of magnitude 4.3 hit the nation within the early hours of the day. That tremor was recorded at a a lot deeper depth of 150 km, the NCS stated in a publish on X.

A day earlier, on December 9, the NCS reported two separate earthquakes within the area. One quake of magnitude 3.8 struck at a depth of 70 km, whereas one other stronger tremor measuring 4.5 occurred at a shallow depth of simply 10 km.
