CEBU CITY, Philippines — Cebu’s Olympic weightlifting pleasure Elreen Ando delivered in emphatic style, clinching the Philippines’ first weightlifting gold medal within the Southeast Asian Video games on Monday, December 15, on the Chonburi Sports activities Faculty. The 27-year-old lifter from Barangay Carreta in Cebu Metropolis topped the ladies’s 63-kilogram division with lifts of 98 kilograms within the snatch and 127 kilograms within the clear and jerk, for a profitable whole of 225.
