Radhika Apte displays on her 20-year profession, expressing a want to neglect her debut movie attributable to a poor manufacturing expertise. 

Radhika Apte, who has carved out a distinct segment for herself over the previous 20 years together with her versatility throughout movies, lately mirrored on her profession as she completes 20 years within the business. Surprisingly, the actress prefers to neglect her debut movie Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!, which featured Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Amrita Rao, and Arshad Warsi, amongst others.

Radhika opens up about her horrible expertise in first movie

In an interplay with Indian Specific, Radhika recalled the tough expertise throughout her first movie, significantly blaming producer Sangeetha Ahir for the tough begin. “The terrible producers didn’t put me up, didn’t pay me. When my mom and I requested them to signal a contract, they stated, ‘Arey, even Urmila Matondkar didn’t signal a contract. I don’t know if she signed or not,’ however they handled us horribly. Mahesh Manjrekar was an excellent man. That’s why I prefer to neglect my movie as a result of the manufacturing was terrible! And I say it out loud,” she shared candidly.

Radhika, who performed a supporting function within the movie, revealed how she landed the half, “I used to be doing a play referred to as Mind Surgeon. It was a superb play, and we received an award in a state competitors. Mahesh Manjrekar was one of many judges. He referred to as me after the play and stated, ‘I wish to solid you. Then I didn’t do a movie for a very long time. I completed faculty, after which I went again to movies after a very long time. So, I don’t really matter that as one of many movies I did. However yeah, it’s been 20 years.”

Radhika’s present venture

At present, Radhika is being lauded for her efficiency in Saali Mohabbat, a psychological thriller that premiered on ZEE5 on December 12, 2025. Directed by Tisca Chopra in her characteristic directorial debut, the movie has already earned acclaim at notable festivals, together with the Worldwide Movie Pageant of India (IFFI) and the Chicago South Asian Movie Pageant. With its darkish, atmospheric tone, Saali Mohabbat is being hailed as considered one of Apte’s most compelling performances lately.
