
The Punjab Increased Schooling Division on Monday introduced winter holidays for all the private and non-private instructional establishments within the province.
In response to the notification, all private and non-private instructional establishments will stay closed from December 23 to January 10, 2026.
“All faculties (private and non-private) shall re-open on Monday, January 12, 2026 resuming full/regular week for all courses,” the notification said.
Nevertheless, it mentioned, BS-4 yr programmes shall proceed to perform. The notification additional added that every one examinations shall be held as per the notified schedules of Boards and Universities.
The Punjab authorities had earlier introduced winter holidays for all faculties throughout the province.
The notification, issued by the provincial training division, said: “Winter trip in all private and non-private faculties throughout the province of Punjab shall be noticed with impact from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026.”
All faculties are set to reopen on January 10, 2026, marking the restart of the educational time period, the notification added.
