A U.S. nuclear-powered submarine arrived at a key naval base within the southeastern metropolis of Busan on Tuesday to replenish provides and supply relaxation for crew members, Korea’s Navy stated.
The USS Greeneville, a Los Angeles-class assault submarine, entered the naval base in Busan earlier within the day, the Navy stated.
“The Navy plans to spice up exchanges and cooperation between the navies of Korea and the USA and strengthen our mixed protection posture on the event of the USS Greeneville’s entry,” it stated.
