MUSCAT : Sultan Qaboos College (SQU) achieved a major educational milestone by rating third within the 2025 Arab Rating for Universities. This regional classification is organized by the Affiliation of Arab Universities (AArU) which relies in Amman, Jordan, an affiliate of the Arab League, in collaboration with the Arab League Academic, Cultural and Scientific Group (ALECSO) and the Federation of Arab Scientific Analysis Councils.

The rating is distinguished by its goal analysis mechanism, which depends on automated information processing and classification with out human intervention. This method supplies credible and clear indicators of the educational, analysis, and scientific realities of collaborating establishments. The analysis is constructed upon 4 main pillars: the standard of schooling and studying, scientific analysis productiveness, creativity and innovation, and worldwide and native cooperation mixed with neighborhood service.

This version marks the third iteration of the rating, wherein Sultan Qaboos College participated for the primary time.
