NAVI MUMBAI : Staff, a part of the development of the greenfield Navi Mumbai airport, had been among the many flyers throughout the inaugural day operations on the airport on Thursday, marking a landmark enlargement of Mumbai’s aviation capability and a decisive step in India’s infrastructure journey.

Spanning over 1,160 hectares (2,866 acres), on completion, NMIA is designed to deal with 90 million passengers each year (MPPA).
