Sri Lanka’s expressways earn Rs. 54 Million on Christmas Day

Income of Rs. 54 million was recorded from Sri Lanka’s expressways on Christmas Day (December 25).

The Street Improvement Authority (RDA) said that 146,000 autos travelled on the expressways on that day.

In the meantime, expressway income elevated by 25 % on the day previous to Christmas.

The Ministry of Transport, Highways and City Improvement mentioned that an earnings of Rs. 61 million was earned on December 24.

On a traditional day, the typical income generated from expressways is round Rs. 45 million.

The Ministry of Transport, Highways and City Improvement additionally famous that roughly 145,000 autos use the expressways on a median day.
