Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister conducts field visit to Farmers’ Market

Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, carried out a subject go to to the Bahraini Farmers’ Market at Al Budaiya Botanical Backyard, with the participation of Ebrahim bin Hasan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works; Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism; Shaikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary Common of the Nationwide Initiative for Agricultural Improvement (NIAD); representatives of stc Bahrain and Gulf Petrochemical Industries Firm (GPIC); quite a few Members of Parliament; Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, Northern Governor; Dr. Sayed Shubbar Ebrahim Al Wedai, Chairman of the Northern Municipal Council; and several other officers.

The minister emphasised that the Farmers’ Market represents a distinguished nationwide platform reflecting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s dedication to strengthening the presence of Bahraini farmers throughout the meals safety system, consistent with the imaginative and prescient of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. This strategy helps the sustainability of the agricultural sector as a contributor to the Sustainable Improvement Objectives and the Authorities Programme.
