Manama, Jan. 1 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Overseas Affairs, mentioned that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s non-permanent membership of the United Nations Safety Council for the 2026–2027 time period conveys a message of peace, coexistence, solidarity, and shared prosperity to the worldwide neighborhood.

He mentioned the membership displays the Kingdom’s diplomatic and humanitarian strategy below the management of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

 Dr. Al Zayani expressed pleasure in Bahrain’s official assumption of its non-permanent seat on the Council for a two-year time period, marking the Kingdom’s second membership in practically three a long time and reflecting rising worldwide confidence in Bahraini diplomacy.

The minister mentioned Bahrain stays dedicated to working carefully with Safety Council members and the broader worldwide neighborhood to help peace and stability, deal with conventional and rising safety challenges, promote inclusiveness and participation, together with the empowerment of ladies and youth, and strengthen efficient multilateral motion.
