Cambodia has accused Thai armed forces of launching “coordinated and systematic” army assaults throughout the internationally-recognized Cambodia–Thailand boundary, forcibly coming into and seizing areas in 4 Cambodian provinces in large-scale operations regardless of signing the ceasefire settlement on December 27, 2025.

The ministry condemned the actions as a critical violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, because the army occupation continued even after the ceasefire entered into power. 

The operations contradict Thailand’s commitments underneath present ceasefire agreements and border mechanisms, and undermine ongoing boundary demarcation efforts, it stated.

Cambodia demanded Thailand to instantly withdraw its forces from Cambodian territory, the ministry said, reaffirming its dedication to resolving border disputes solely via peaceable means in accordance with worldwide legislation.
