U.S. Revises Childhood Vaccine Schedule: CDC Cuts Routine Shots From 17 To 11

Facilities for Illness Management and Prevention (CDC) introduced a significant revision to the U.S. childhood immunization schedule on January 5, decreasing the variety of vaccines advisable for all kids from 17 to 11. The change was described by U.S. Well being and Human Companies Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as an effort to align American practices with worldwide requirements.

Vaccines now not advisable for all kids

  • Hepatitis A
  • Hepatitis B
