Abu Dhabi, Jan. 22 (BNA): The Social Insurance coverage Organisation (SIO) chaired the 63rd assembly of the Technical Committee of Civil Retirement and Social Insurance coverage Our bodies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held within the United Arab Emirates from January 19 to 21, 2026. The assembly was held as a part of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s presidency of the GCC for 2026.
The assembly mentioned the work plan of the Committee of Heads for the 2026–2030 interval, updates to the extension of safety system, the newest developments within the digital linkage initiative between techniques, joint consciousness campaigns, preparations for coaching and qualification programmes, the event of specialized coaching packages, in addition to worldwide participation.
On the sidelines of the assembly, an introductory session was organised on key companies and mechanisms for benefiting from the extension of safety system. The session aimed to comply with up on insurance-related issues, present the mandatory help, and improve consciousness of the legal guidelines, rules and procedures in drive throughout GCC member states.
The organisation was represented on the assembly by Mohamed Saleh Mohamed, Government Director of the Monetary Affairs Directorate; Faisal Abdullah Al Huwaihi, Director of the Communication and Consciousness Directorate; and Abdulrahman Hafidh Saif.
