Michelin-starred high quality eating chef Anh Sung-jae has grow to be an energetic promoter of Korean beef, pork and seaweed after gaining international recognition as a choose on each seasons of Netflix’s hit cooking sequence “Culinary Class Wars.”

In line with the Ministry of Agriculture, Meals and Rural Affairs, the chef not too long ago visited Singapore with Minister Track Mi-ryung to attend an occasion on Friday celebrating the launch of Jeju Island’s beef and pork exports to the city-state.

Jeju’s beef and pork have been distributed within the Southeast Asian nation since December, after a quarantine settlement was signed between Korea and Singapore final November in the course of the Asia-Pacific Financial Cooperation conferences in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province.

A month after exports started, Singapore turned the world’s second-largest importer of Korean beef, prompting Korea to host the occasion to maintain the rising curiosity.

Anh additionally appeared in a tv documentary titled “the Ok-GIM Revolution,” produced by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to advertise the excellence of Korean seaweed and encourage worldwide audiences to make use of its Korean title “gim” as an alternative of the Japanese title “nori.”
