Baku Metro migrates its IT systems to “Government Cloud”

The implementation of Presidential Decree No. 718 of the
Republic of Azerbaijan, “On measures for the creation of the
‘Authorities Cloud’ (G-cloud) and the supply of cloud providers,”
is ongoing.

One other state establishment, “Baku Metropolitan” CJSC, has
migrated its IT programs to the “Authorities Cloud” in accordance
with the necessities of the Decree. Its data programs and
sources have been partially hosted on the Baku Essential Information Heart
operated by “AzInTelecom” LLC.

AzInTelecom has supplied Baku Metro with cloud providers,
together with Digital Server – IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) and
Backup – BaaS (Backup-as-a-Service). This has ensured excessive
availability of the establishment’s crucial programs.

The “Authorities Cloud” undertaking is being carried out by
“AzInTelecom” LLC, one of many corporations of AZCON Holding. As half
of the undertaking, the IT programs of state establishments are totally or
partially migrated to the info facilities of “AzInTelecom” LLC. This
transition helps scale back IT expenditures, maintains the home
storage of knowledge programs in a centralized facility, and
permits steady 24/7 monitoring.

“AzInTelecom” LLC is the primary group within the South
Caucasus area to obtain the TIER III certification, which
defines worldwide requirements for cloud providers.
