MANILA, Philippines — A Taiwanese nationwide needed for theft in his dwelling nation has been arrested and is dealing with deportation proceedings, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) stated on Saturday. In response to the BI, 33-year-old Chien Wen-Chieh was arrested final January 28 alongside Roxas Boulevard in Pasay Metropolis. The BI stated that is pursuant to the arrest warrant issued by the Taiwan Miaoli District Prosecutor’s Workplace for theft on August 31, 2023.
