Shares promoting gripped the Pakistan Inventory Change (PSX) on Friday, dragging the benchmark KSE-100 Index down by greater than 1,500 factors until Friday prayers break.

The KSE-100 Index stood at 178,979.43 factors, reflecting a drop of 1533.21 factors, or minus 0.86%.

On the dropping facet, PIA Holding Firm Restricted declined by Rs 365.71 to shut at Rs 17,860.29, whereas Nestle Pakistan Restricted fell by Rs 84.59 to shut at Rs 8,012.50.

Within the futures market, turnover stood at 198.316 million shares with a traded worth of Rs 10.287 billion, in comparison with 149.370 million shares value Rs 8.556 billion within the earlier session.
