Brunei bring home one gold from ASEAN Para Games

BRUNEI returned with a haul of 1 gold, three silver and two bronze medals from the thirteenth ASEAN Para Video games in Thailand.

The gold got here from Kamarul Ariffin Hj Abd Ghaffar within the TPB2 Tenpin Bowling Single occasion after he recorded a complete of 1011 pinfalls to complete prime of the rostrum within the discipline of 12 members.

Tanapoom Pugtra of Thailand took the silver on 994 pinfalls whereas compatriot Saidin Hj Damit bagged the bronze with 967 pinfalls on the Esplanade Ratchada Procuring Mall.

Final however not least, the bronze medal was courtesy of Alihan Muda after he managed a distance of 15.04m within the males’s javelin F34 para athletic.

Brunei despatched a complete of 12 athletes to compete in three sports activities – swimming being the opposite – on the January 21 – 26 biennial competitors.
