Manama, Feb. 18 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued Edict (8) of 2026, appointing administrators on the Sunni and Ja’fari Endowments directorates, based mostly on a proposal by the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf.
The edict stipulates the next:
Article (I)
The next are appointed as administrators on the Sunni Endowments:
1. Abdullah Rashid Abdullah Ali Director of the Mosques and Spiritual Services Directorate.
2. Ali Abdulrahman Yousif Matar Director of the Funding and Endowment Affairs Directorate.
Article (II)
The next are appointed as administrators on the Jaafari Endowments:
1. Hassan Abdulali Abdullah Al Khatem Director of the Mosques and Spiritual Services Directorate.
2. Ali Ibrahim Ahmed Al Ghazal Director of the Funding and Endowment Affairs Directorate.
Article (III)
The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Waqf shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall take impact from the date of issuance and be revealed within the Official Gazette.
