It requested Nationwide Judicial Academy director Justice Aniruddha Bose to represent a committee of specialists to arrange a “complete report” on ‘Creating Pointers to Inculcate Sensitivity and Compassion into Judges and Judicial Processes within the Context of Sexual Offences and different Weak Instances’. “The rules, we anticipate, is not going to be loaded with heavy, difficult expressions borne from overseas languages and jurisdictions,” stated the CJI-led bench, which had termed then CJI D Y Cha-ndrachud’s ‘Handbook on Co-mbating gender Stereotypes’ too “Harvard-oriented”.
