Reacting sharply to the event, Union minister Piyush Goyal stated the protest put the Congress’s “vanity and frustration on show” and requested Gandhi if “humiliating” India to focus on the BJP-led authorities is his “concept of opposition”.

Union minister Gajendra Shekhawat additionally hit out at Gandhi over the protest, saying it’s not shocking to see the followers of the “pea-brained and immature” Congress chief take their shirts off and run round vulgarly on the summit.

The BJP’s IT division head criticised the Youth Congress staff for taking off their shirts and making a ruckus on the venue, saying the act was “clearly designed to embarrass India on the world stage”.

When the nation is striving to place itself as a worldwide know-how powerhouse, such conduct solely serves the pursuits of those that want to see it falter, he added.

“Political opposition is a democratic proper, however sabotaging India’s international picture isn’t,” Malviya stated in a publish on X, stressing, “India deserves higher.”

Reacting sharply to the protest, BJP nationwide spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari wrote on X: “Disgrace on Congress Occasion. Congress behaves like City Naxals. Cong is an anti-India celebration.”

He alleged that the Youth Congress staff stormed the summit venue and raised “objectionable slogans on the directions of Rahul Gandhi”.

“Rahul Gandhi, Congress and Gandhi-Vadra household ought to apologise to the nation and its youth,” Bhandari stated.

In the meantime, an image has surfaced on the social media, by which Gandhi is seen strolling together with Narsimha Yadav, who allegedly organised the protest on the AI summit venue.
