
Militants ambushed ambulances close to Ghole Banda Dam transporting injured Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel, ensuing within the martyrdom of three officers.
The assault occurred on February 23, 2026, following a quadcopter assault on an FC submit within the Qila Shahidan space. Two Rescue 1122 ambulances had arrived to evacuate the wounded when militants focused them on their return. One ambulance was set ablaze with injured personnel inside, whereas the second managed to move its passengers safely.
Those that misplaced their lives included FC Sepoy Murad Gul and Sepoy Ayan Khan from Hangu, and Lance Naik Adil Khan from Mansehra. Different injured included Havaldar Sabir, Muhammad Yousaf, Hanif, and ambulance driver Ahmad Hussain, who have been shifted to hospitals in Bannu and Karak for therapy.
Authorities condemned the assault, calling it a grave act of violence. Safety forces vowed to proceed operations towards militant parts liable for such incidents.
