Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], March 1 (ANI): AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday condemned the killing of Iran’s Supreme Chief Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, terming the US and Israel assault as ‘cowardly and inhuman’.

He expressed concern over the results this escalation in West Asia can have on the Indian economic system, particularly if oil value rises.

‘A revered chief of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, was killed; the Iranians will certainly retaliate… Whereas the peace talks have been underway in Geneva, the assault was launched. This can be a cowardly and inhuman assault… If this battle continues, oil costs will rise, and even a distinction of USD1 can have a huge effect on the Indian economic system,’ he stated.
