
BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 1. US Nationwide Safety
Advisor Mike Waltz praised President Donald Trump’s management
throughout a UN Safety Council assembly on Iran, emphasizing the
administration’s resolve amid escalating tensions, Pattern stories.
“And President Trump has met the second. Probably the most basic
obligation of any sovereign authorities is the safety of its individuals,”
Waltz mentioned.
He burdened that the present US actions mirror Trump’s
long-standing place that Iran should not purchase nuclear weapons.
In accordance with Waltz, the president has remained agency that the
Iranian regime “by no means, ever can threaten the world with a nuclear
weapon.”
Waltz argued that Iran’s actions over a long time have destabilized
the Center East. “For many years the Iranian regime has willfully
destabilized the world. It has killed American forces and residents,
threatened regional allies, and jeopardized the safety of
worldwide delivery upon which the world relies upon,” he
said.
Referring to earlier UN Safety Council measures, Waltz mentioned
resolutions adopted below Chapter VII of the UN Constitution created “a
strong multilateral framework” to curb Iran’s nuclear and missile
actions, including that sanctions had been restored in September 2025
to carry Tehran accountable.
“The underside line is that this, colleagues, our allies and companions
can depend on the USA and may depend on President Trump,”
Waltz concluded.
