Every winter, JR Hokkaido runs certainly one of Japan’s most original seasonal sightseeing trains: the Ryuhyo Monogatari (Drift Ice Story) practice. Working from late January to early March, it travels the Senmo Line between Abashiri and Shiretoko-Shari.
