
ILOILO CITY— Two earthquakes struck components of Guimaras on Monday night, minutes after a stronger tremor was recorded off Guimbal, Iloilo, in response to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). In separate bulletins, Phivolcs reported {that a} magnitude 2.1 earthquake occurred at 6:34 p.m., positioned 13 kilometers south 70 levels west of Nueva Valencia, Guimaras, with a shallow depth of 1 km..
