Three U.S. warplanes have been mistakenly shot down by Kuwait air defenses late on Sunday evening, U.S. Central Command stated, an incident that occurred throughout lively combating that included Iranian assaults.
“Three U.S. F-15E Strike Eagles flying in help of Operation Epic Fury went down over Kuwait resulting from an obvious pleasant fireplace incident. Throughout lively fight — that included assaults from Iranian plane, ballistic missiles, and drones — the U.S. Air Drive fighter jets have been mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses,” CENTCOM stated Monday, including that each one six aircrew ejected and have been secure.
“Kuwait has acknowledged this incident, and we’re grateful for the efforts of the Kuwaiti protection forces and their help on this ongoing operation,” it added.
