Government announces Eid-ul-Fitr holidays on March 20–21

The federal authorities on Sunday introduced public holidays throughout the nation on the event of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In accordance with a notification issued by the Cupboard Division of Pakistan with the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, March 20 and March 21 have been declared official public holidays for Eid.

The notification said that Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21, will likely be noticed as authorities holidays nationwide. In the meantime, Sunday, March 22, is already an everyday weekly vacation, successfully extending the break for a lot of workers.
