The IDF is investigating the likelihood that Ofer Moskowitz, who was killed on Sunday morning in Misgav Am following Hezbollah rocket hearth, could have been killed by an IDF mortar, based on an announcement from the army.
The IDF’s Northern Command, Air Power, and Artillery Corps are all concerned within the investigation, Israeli media reported.
It was initially assumed that Moskowitz was killed by Hezbollah anti-tank missile hearth.
“The IDF extends its deep condolences to the household at this troublesome time,” the army wrote in its assertion. “The IDF is in ongoing contact with the kibbutz.”
