Sri Lanka bus fares increased by 12.19%

The bus fares in Sri Lanka will likely be elevated by 12.19% with impact from midnight right now (March 23).

This follows the approval of a proposal submitted to the Cupboard for the revision of bus fares.

Cupboard Spokesperson and Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa acknowledged that the minimal bus fare will likely be 30 rupees.
