WASHINGTON, April 1 (Yonhap) — U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned Wednesday the president of Iran’s “new regime” has requested america for a ceasefire, and Washington will take into account it when the essential Strait of Hormuz is “open, free and clear.”

Trump made the remarks in a social media put up, a day after he signaled a possible finish to the continuing U.S.-Israeli struggle in opposition to Iran “inside two or three weeks” amid mounting issues in regards to the battle’s impression on oil costs and inflation.
