Javokhir Sindarov’s strategic win in opposition to R Praggnanandhaa on the Candidates Chess Event in Cyprus propels him to a commanding lead, whereas R Vaishali shines within the ladies’s division.

The unstoppable Javokhir Sindarov of Uzbekistan made one other stride in the direction of the title as he beat India’s R Praggnanandhaa to stretch his lead to an enormous two factors after the top of the tenth spherical of Candidates chess event in Paphos, Cyprus, on Thursday.

R Vaishali, the elder sister of Praggnanandhaa, in the meantime, continued along with her good kind and drew with Anna Muzychuk of Ukraine to emerge as the only real chief within the ladies’s Candidates on six factors.

The Indian is now adopted by Muzychuk and Jiner Zhu of China who each have 5.5 factors apiece.

Bibisara Assaubayeva of Kazakhstan defeated Jiner Zhu and moved to 5 factors alongside aspect Russians Kateryna Lagno and Aleksandra Goryachkina. The final 4 rounds will determine the destiny of the winner and it seems to be like an thrilling end is on playing cards within the ladies’s part.

Divya Deshmukh loses to Goryachkina
