A 29-year-old man was arrested for allegedly setting his spouse on fireplace following a dispute over her apparel in Karnataka’s Belagavi district, the police stated on Wednesday.
The accused, recognized as Krishnaji Parasharam Patil, a resident of Hattarwad village in Khanapur taluk and a each day wage employee, was arrested by the Nandgad police on April 20. He was later produced earlier than a courtroom and remanded to judicial custody.
