Two projectiles had been launched into Israeli territory by the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, triggering sirens within the areas of Manara, Margaliot, and Misgav Am in northern Israel, the IDF introduced on Saturday.

One of many projectiles was efficiently intercepted by the IDF, and the opposite fell in an open space. No accidents had been reported.

The IDF emphasised that the incident “constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire understandings by the Hezbollah terrorist group.”

That is the second time Hezbollah has violated the ceasefire, which started on April 16 and was initially presupposed to final for 10 days earlier than being prolonged for a further three weeks.

On Tuesday, Hezbollah terrorists fired a rocket at Israeli troops working in southern Lebanon, constituting the primary ceasefire violation, based on Israeli media experiences.

The IDF confirmed the Tuesday assault towards its troops, stating that it had situated and struck the Hezbollah rocket launcher used within the incident.

Previous to the ceasefire-violating projectile launches, the IDF efficiently intercepted a suspicious aerial goal recognized within the neighborhood of Israeli troops working in southern Lebanon earlier than it may cross into Israeli territory.
