“The petitioner has not disclosed any doc or produced any proof to determine that if Central Authorities/Central PSU staff are appointed as counting supervisors/counting assistants, the petitioner can be prejudiced in any manner,” Jishnu Chowdhury, senior advocate showing for the ballot panel, informed the courtroom.
“This courtroom doesn’t discover any benefit within the current writ utility. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed,” the bench mentioned.
The bench additionally dismissed one other petition through which Khan moved the courtroom questioning whether or not a Returning Officer (RO) can change the venue of a counting centre.
